Stated in Cambridge dictionary, war is a state of armed conflict between states, governments, societies and informal paramilitary groups, such as mercenaries, insurgents and militias. Wars have been around for thousands of centuries. In fact, the first wat that ever occurred was in 2700 BCE in Mesopotamia. The war was between the Sumerians and King of Kish over weapons. When two groups of people have disagreements, some want to be violent and take possession of what the other has and because this action is so common between people, war has continued all of these years and does not look like it will end any time soon. One of the most destructive wars in history was World War II. The war started because Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, following that, Germany then invaded eleven other countries. The population of people who lived in these countries were mostly European Jews. During the year 1941-1944 The Nazi Germans would deport millions of those Jews to the ghettos and killing center “From the time Nazis had power in 1933, they began planning this war”. War causes mass destruction between countries, cites and has a huge effect on a country’s income. Health of millions can be destroyed, infrastructure is ruined and social order is corrupted. In Mrs. Dalloway, Septimus’s mental health was ruined due to war he was in. there was a longterm effect on him which were the flash backs of scenarios that occurred during his time at war. His experience in War led to his suicide.
